Everything You Need to Know About the 2021 QS Global MBA and Business Masters Rankings

Wondering who the key players are in the 2021 QS Global MBA and Business Masters Rankings? Read on. 

The 2021 edition of the QS Global MBA rankings has revealed that Stanford Graduate School of Business has retained its top spot from the previous year.  

According to the rankings, the university received an average score of 94.5 out of 100, with an almost perfect score of 99.8 out of 100 for entrepreneurship and its alumni outcomes.  

The previous year saw the institution share this position with Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania who have now dropped to second position.  

Both Columbia Business School and IE Business School have improved their positions in the rankings from the previous year, whereas INSEAD has dropped in the rankings from third to sixth position. 

The top 10 institutions in the 2021 QS Global MBA rankings are as follows:

3. MIT Sloan School of Management (US)

4. Harvard Business School (US)

5. HEC Paris (France)

The QS 2021 Business Masters Rankings includes separate rankings for five specialized masters: Masters in Business Analytics, Masters in FinanceMasters in Management, Masters in Marketing, and Masters in Supply Chain Management 

The MSc Financial Economics program at OxfordSaid Business School, retained the top spot in the Masters in Finance rankings, receiving a perfect score in thought leadership 

The second-place position inow shared between the MSc in Financial Analysis program at London Business Schooland Master of Finance at MITSloan School of Management in the US.  

The Master in International Finance course at HEC Paris took fourth position in the Masters in Finance rankings, dropping one place from the previous year. 

The equivalent program at Cambridge Judge Business School in the UK achieved fifth position this year, a ranking increase of one from the previous year.  

HEC Paris and London Business School also ranked highly in the 2021 Masters in Management rankings, taking the first and second positions respectively. 

In fact, the MSc Strategic Management masters at HEC Paris received a perfect score in alumni outcomesvalue for money, and thought leadership 

The MSc in Strategy and Management of International Business program from ESSEC Business School in France maintained third place from the previous year, attaining a nearly perfect score in value for money.  

Fourth and fifth position in the Masters in Management rankings were awarded to programs at ESADE Business School in France, and Copenhagen BusinesSchool in Denmark.  

Other noteworthy specialized business master’s programs in the 2021 rankings include the Master of Business Analytics at MIT, Sloan School of Management, which took first position in the Masters of Business Analytics rankings.  

New to 2021, the Masters in Supply Chain Management rankings saw MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics in the US take the top spot, with aaverage score of 93.9 and a particularly notable score of 100 for its alumni outcomes.
